Peninsula Riders Poker Run

Presented by The Huntingdon Riders’ Club with a host of volunteers, sponsors and partners, the Poker Run is a tradition that is shared by equestrians of all disciplines from near and far. This year, part of the proceeds from this event will be given to Fixed Fur Life in loving memory of our longtime member and friend Judith Smith.
Come and enjoy a day of celebrating Stirling-Rawdon’s unique landscapes with great trails and friendly people where you can ride at your own pace. Cash prizes for the top 3 poker hands and lots of fabulous door prizes too!

As Volunteers are busy getting the trails ready for the 2017 season, Snowcrest is organizing its Annual Poker Run. This years event will take place on Sunday February 19, 2017 in conjunction with the 2017 Do it for Dads Sled Ride of Hope! The poker run was open to anything with wheels, with proceeds and donations going to Chemo Comfort Totes. Nearly 25 motorcycles met at Horizon Ag Saturday morning then hit the road, and the weather could not have been more perfect for a ride.

The main event is our Christmas Toy Run that takes place on the last Sunday before Christmas every year. The Summer Series Poker/Toy Run is a very unique event and that is held towards the end of June. (For information on each event please click on that page from the tool bar above.) In addition to our two main events, we also have a very strong presence in other activities throughout the year with one of the funnest being the Greeley Lights the Night parade in November where we are always a crowd favorite with over 100 motorcycles riding in our entry.

The Christmas Toy Run is by far one of, if not the best, toy run in Colorado. The run is a parade ride of about 12 miles from Greeley to Windsor and has it's own police escort with all intersections controlled and closed by the Greeley Police Department and the Sleigh Rider road guards for one continuous, non-stop ride. Typically, we see about 350 motorcycles show up. (For exact details on this years run, please click on the Christmas Toy Run link on the tool bar above.)

The Sleigh Riders Motorcycle Toy Run is the largest single contributor to the Santa Cops program and we can't thank all of our riders enough for making that possible.
