Anson Tsang Wins Second WSOP Bracelet in $500 Deepstack
The Event #68: $500 Deepstack No-Limit Hold’em kicked off Saturday action on GGPoker, and attracted 2,315-entrants and created a prize pool of $1,099,625 that paid the top 332 finishers.
Some players finishing in-the-money included GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu, Christian Rudolph, Joao Vieira, Vanessa Kade, Tobias Peters, Fabrizio Gonzalez, Thai Ha, and Justin Lapka. Entering the final table as chip leader, Anson Tsang was also chasing his second WSOP bracelet following his maiden victory at the 2018 WSOP Europe in the €2,200 Pot-Limit Omaha. After 13 hours of play, Tsang would defeat Mohaiman Ashrafee heads-up to win the $150,460 first-place prize, an added WSOP Europe package, and his second WSOP bracelet.
Nick Maimone Captures $1,500 Marathon No-Limit Hold’em and First WSOP Bracelet
The Event #69: $1,500 Marathon No-Limit Hold’em began Sunday action on GGPoker with a total of 1,438 entrants creating a $2,049,150 prize pool.
Negreanu added a second cash over the weekend as the likes of Tim Reilly, Galen Hall, Christine Do, James Chen, Simon Higgins, Harry Lodge, Mike Watson, Bryan Micon, Kitty Kuo, Jeff Gross, and Mustapha Kanit also finished in-the-money. Ermo Kosk and Erik Lemarquand were the chip leaders heading into the final table, but they would exit in sixth and eighth place respectively. Nick Maimone entered heads-up play holding a slight lead over Diego Bittar, and after some back-and-forth, the final hand would see Bittar’s ace-five outdrawn by Maimone’s king-eight.
The prolific online player not only wins the $302,472 first-place prize and an added WSOP Europe package, but also his first WSOP bracelet.

The Event #71: BIG 50 $1m GTD attracted a staggering 44,576 entrants and created a prize pool of $2,050,496 from just the $50 buy-in.

Day 2 action saw 4,140 players return as the likes of Negreanu, Jack Salter, Patrick Tardif, and Kevin Martin were a select few of the 2,300 players finishing in-the-money. Eventually, it would be China’s Huahuan Feng defeating Ziu Qiao Zhao heads-up to win the $211,282 first-place prize, an added WSOP Europe package, and his first WSOP bracelet.
